Burtons Bio Tube - 50l Filter Media
Burtons Bio Tube - 50l Filter Media is a specially designed biological filter media that significantly enhances the effectiveness of pond filtration systems. The media has a unique spoke design with both internal and external fins, maximising the surface area available for bacterial growth. The total surface area is about 1000m²/m³, offering ample space for beneficial bacteria to thrive. These bacteria are crucial for the biological breakdown of waste in the water, thereby improving the overall water quality and clarity in ponds and aquatic systems. The BioTube media is not only efficient but also durable and rugged, making it a highly suitable choice for moving bed biological filters. It's an effective solution for both industrial and municipal wastewater treatment as well as smaller-scale applications like garden fish ponds.
